General description
Extraction system. The system comprises a press, two containers, a series of optional accessories (pipettes, cuvettes for centrifuging, spatulas, etc.) and a centrifuge to purify the extracted product. It is possible to use both CDR’s centrifuge or another one with equivalent characteristics. The extraction system can be used with a wide variety of food matrices: fresh olives for tests on small amounts of oil and all types of dry fruit to extract oils from nuts, peanuts, almonds, Brazilian nuts. It is also possible to extract oil from sunflower seeds without removing the shell. The system can also be used to press fruit and vegetable and obtain liquid samples for testing. The system is designed to take small samples that are however sufficient to be tested with CDR’s OxiTester instrumentation.
